Slimming World - week 2

I'm delighted to report that I have lost another 1lb. That's 4lbs lost in two weeks. I'm pretty happy with that and only over 5lb more to lose, which I'm hoping to achieve before we go to Portugal for Easter.

I'm enjoying the Slimming World programme and have found the last week easier than the first. I've broken my habit of snacking on cereal bars and having chocolate in the evenings and I'm much more used to what's allowed and what should be avoided.

I've decided to list all the meals I've had this week. This will give you a flavour of the programme, and will also mean that when I go off track I can have a look back to see what I need to do to keep those dreaded lbs at bay!

Jacket potato, beans and a large salad

Homemade burger in a white bun, topped with salad and ketchup and homemade chips

Large glass of wine and a small popcorn at the cinema

Saturday

2 Weetabix with skimmed milk, topped with blueberries

Roast chicken, beans and a jacket potato

A handful of sweet and salted popcorn (amazing!)

Chilli and rice

A piece of crème egg scotch egg (I've pinned some recipes for these on Pinterest - they are amazing!)

Sunday (ran a 10k race)

Ready Brek with skimmed milk, topped with sliced banana

Sunday dinner followed by a slice of Snickers cake

Some cheesy mix crisps

My weekend (as always) went a little off piste, but on the whole I stuck to the programme, pretty well.
